Kyoko Yoshinaga is a Project Associate Professor of the Graduate School of Media and Governance, Keio University and Non-Resident Fellow, Georgetown Law’s Institute for Technology Law & Policy. Kyoko Yoshinaga’s research interest is in AI governance and ethics. Her research fields have been in comparative policies and laws on Information Communication Technologies, media and cybersecurity. She was a researcher at Mitsubishi Research Institute (2003-2023) assisting Japanese government ministries in policy and rule making in these areas for many years and for the last few years, she was in charge of compliance and risk management in the AI development division. From 2010 to 2011, she was a Visiting Fellow at Yale Law’s Information Society Project.
She has contributed to making “AI Guidelines for Business 1.0” in Japan as a member of METI’s Expert Committee. Kyoko has been selected as an Expert at GPAI (Global Partnership on Artificial Intelligence) and is engaging in the Future of Work Working Group as well as co-leading a project on co-generated works at the Data Governance Working Group.
