Eva Thelisson is the CEO and Co-Founder of the AI Transparency Institute. She hold a Ph.D in Law from the university of Fribourg, Switzerland on GDPR with a focus on Digital Technologies (AI, Blockchain and IoT). She is a Lawyer and Economist with more than 15 years experience in international projects, last as Data Protection Officer at EPFL and Member of the Ethics Committee. She worked previously as Team Head at the Swiss Confederation in Bern.

Her scientific interests are at the cross-road between Innovation, the convergence of NBIC, Ethics, Economy and the Rule of Law. She is registered as Ethics Expert at the EU Commission. She holds a Master’s Degree in International Business Law and Management from ESSEC Business School (french “Grande Ecole”).

Himanshu Verma is a Scientific Collaborator at the LEARN Center (EPFL, Switzerland) and at the University of Applied Sciences of Western Switzerland (HES-SO Valais). Currently pursuing his post-doctoral research, he is engaged in projects at the intersection of Human-Computer InteractionPervasive Sensing, and Interaction Design in order to have an impact on aspects related to Sustainability, Collaboration, and Education.

He hold a PhD in Computer Science from Swiss Federal Institute of Technology Lausanne (EPFL). Situated at the intersection of Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) and Social Cognition, and completed in 2015, his dissertation examined the relationship between collaborating groups and their interactions with shared artifacts and environment, with implications for Computer Supported Collaborative Work/Learning (CSCW/L) and Technology Enhanced Learning (TEL) research.

Chris Greenwood is responsible for marketing strategy at the AI Transparency Institute. He is a non profit specialist and has worked in numerous countries worldwide. Formerly of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) he now supports initiatives in India and Greece and works with clients in New York, Washington DC, Sao Paolo and London.

Chris is a graduate of London, Cambridge and Harvard Universities. He holds a PhD in American Literature and is a Kennedy Scholar. The public contribution of the private sector is his passion and mission.

Diane de Pompignan is a member of the AI Transparency Institute since its foundation and acts as a special advisor on issues relating to public policy, external relations and strategic thinking. Diane has a unique background in public policy design and assessment, combining an experience in OECD/SIGMA, and in-the-field consulting activities. She assists officials for more than 15 years towards innovation and digital transformation. Her current activities are mainly dedicated to the use of smart building technologies as a major lever for both economic growth and human development.

Hugo Musard holds a MSc in Microengineering from EPFL with a focus on micro-systems (MEMS) applied to the medical industry. He currently works for EPFL IT departement. He is responsible for the ai-gf.com website.
