Hsien-Lee Tseng

Dr. Hsien-Lee Tseng is a scholar-practitioner with a unique dual background in data science and public administration. His research focuses on AI governance, open data, and digital transformation within the public sector. Dr. Tseng currently serves as the Deputy Director of the Taiwan E-Governance Research Center (TEG) and as a National Policy Researcher for Taiwan’s AI Center of Excellence (AICOE). In these capacities, he contributes to the formulation of Taiwan’s sovereign AI strategies and data literacy frameworks. Additionally, he has been an active contributor to the Digital Government Society (dgo) international conferences for many years, engaging with the global academic community to advance the study of digital governance. He is dedicated to bridging the gap between technical innovation and democratic governance in Asia.
