A political philosopher by training, Michèle Loi has worked in bioethics before becoming a digital ethicist. Michele was an ethics consultant for the World Health Organization and is currently a digital ethics post-doctoral researcher at the University of Zurich. He is personally interested in bringing insights from ethics and political philosophy to bear on big data, proposing more ethical forms of institutional organization, firm behavior, and legal-political arrangements concerning data.
